Nancy Horan, 2007In 1904, Frank Lloyd Wright designed a new home for Mamah Borthwick Cheney. It was the beginning of an affair which scandalized Illinois society. Tales of the relationship of Mamah and Frank are interwoven with descriptions of Frank’s architectural projects. This fictionalized version of their romance closely follows real events which led to a tragic ending.
