Rashi's Daughters. Book 1: Joheved

Maggie Anton, 2005

Rashi, a great Jewish scholar, had three daughters. Legend has it that they were learned in a time when women were forbidden to study the sacred texts. This book, the first in a trilogy, tells the story of Joheved, an 11th century Jew in France, who dared to study the Talmud. This book was followed by Book 2: Miriam in 2007. The third book in the trilogy has yet to be published.
