Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine

Gail Honeyman, 2017

When we first meet Elinor, she is socially awkward , leading a lonely life with a complete lack of friend.,  However, she is anything but sad or apologetic. Eleanor, in fact, is fine, and sometimes even hilarious in how she perceives the world.  All that begins to change when she meets, Raymond, the bumbling and deeply unhygienic IT guy from her office.  They rescue each other from the lives of isolation they have each been living. It is Raymond's big heart that will ultimately help Eleanor find the way to repair her own profoundly damaged one.  Listen to the audio-tape and enjoy the characters’ Scottish brogue.
